Roanoke Valley tennis players have scores of courts to choose from. Some are private, and some public courts require reservations through the sponsoring club or organization. In this list, the first figure indicates the number of courts at a site; the second is the number of lighted courts.

Lessons

Hidden Valley: Pros Tom Gibbs and Tom Morgan provide 45-minute lessons for $20 and one-hour lessons for $25. Lessons for non-members also are available.

Hunting Hills: Pro John Barker provides half-hour lessons for $14.50 for adult members and $13.50 for junior members. Assistant pro Ravi Anantaraman offers half-hour lessons for $13 to adult members and $12 junior members. One-hour lessons are available for double half-hour rates. Non-member lessons are available for member rates plus $3. Ten-week clinics, beginning in September and January, are offered to juniors (ages 5-18).

Stonegate: Will Wimmer offers half-hour lessons for $5 and 45-minute lessons for $7. Lessons are available to members and non-members. Free children's clinics also available.
