In Sunday's Discover section, the list of Roanoke City Council members was incorrect. The council members are: David Bowers, mayor; Linda Wyatt, vice mayor; Nelson Harris; John Parrott; Carroll Swain; Jim Trout; and Bill White.
Members of the boards of supervisors in Bedford and Franklin counties were incorrect on a map in Discover, but were correct in the accompanying list.
In Sunday's paper, the Associated Press erroneously reported that American Electric Power proposed running a high-voltage line across 124 miles of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. The route would run through 12 miles of the forest. The story also said Forest Service Supervisor Bill Damon referred to office workers as ``old hens.'' The correct reference was ``old hands.''
