Kellogg Co. is recalling some boxes of its Frosted Bran cereal because they were mixed with another cereal that contains peanuts. Peanuts may cause a life-threatening allergic reaction in some people, the company said.
The boxes affected, all 18.9 ounces, have printed on the box top Ctn. No. K-1360H and a ``better if used before'' product code of APR 26 1997 NA 009.
The company did not specify how many boxes were being recalled but said it was a ``limited number.''
Consumers with packages meeting the description may call Kellogg at (800) 527-1557.
