A man told police he was hit over the head and robbed in Southwest Roanoke early Tuesday.
About 12:10 a.m., Shane Turner, 20, was walking in the 400 block of Day Avenue when a man asked him for a light. Turner said he didn't have a light, then a second man hit him over the head with a stick. The robbers took his wallet, which contained $20, police said.
