EXPRESS FOOD MART ROBBED BY 2 MEN

A Northeast Roanoke convenience store was robbed early Friday by two men, police said.

About 12:21 a.m., two men walked into Express Food Mart No.3 at 523 Orange Ave. One of the men walked up to the clerk, threatened to assault him and demanded money, police said. The clerk gave the man money, and the two men fled on foot. No one was injured.
