BAKE SALE SET TO HELP INJURED TEEN

A yard and bake sale will be held today and Saturday to help pay for the medical bills of Christiansburg resident Christopher Custer, 19, who was paralyzed in an automobile accident on July 25.

The sale will be held on a lot beside the Sandstone Market on U.S. 11 between Radford and Christiansburg starting at 7 a.m. Anyone wishing to make a donation directly can go to any Blue Ridge Bank branch, where an account in Custer's name has been opened.

Custer is in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
