WHAT IS CHANGES

Tobacco ads in magazines read by a significant number of teens, such as Rolling Stone and Sports Illustrated, would have to be black-and-white, text-only.

Tobacco billboards would have to bet be black-and-white, text-only.. No tobacco billboards would be allowed within 1,000 feet of schools or playgrounds.

Cigarette brand-name sponsorship of sporting events, teams and race cars would be banned, although corporate sponsorship could continue.

No brand-names on products like hats and T-shirts.

No single-cigarette sales, ``kiddie packs'' and other gimmicks.

Photo identification with proof of agewould be required for every sale.

Vending machines would be allowed in adults-only locations, like casinos or bars that require proof of age to enter. No vending machines in grocery stores, bars in restaurants or nightclubs that let teens enter .
