Ronnie Newman took his first checkered flag in three years by winning the Late Model Stock feature from the pole at Franklin County Speedway on Saturday night.
Dale Marlowe, subbing for Jimmy Mullins, finished second, with Buster Carroll third.
Wayne Corprew, who normally runs in the Limited Sportsman division, finished a surprising fifth.
In other races:
* Mike Dudley wrapped up the Limited Sportsman points title by winning his ninth race of the season. Skip Bennington finished second and Leon Dalton was third.
* In a wild Pure Stock race, Ashley Wimmer posted his first win and won an extra $200 from an increased purse. Neil Murray took second, Eric Janney was next but was disqualified, leaving third to Danny Wickham.
* Gary Clifton took the lead from Bobby Hurt on lap 22 and went on to win the Mini Stock race. David Duncan was second and Hurt, who lost the lead after tangling with lapped traffic, finished third.
* Steve Cannaday won his sixth straight Rookie race, with Bob Cregger second and Harland Dalton third.
* In the Classic Modifieds division, Larry Avery took the checkered flag, followed by Randy Kingery and Willie Myers.
* Willie Wines won the Mini Cup race.
* Paul Milliner won the Any Car division.
