Saturday - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Available to all full-time and the part-time Virginia Tech students who have paid their health fees, which are included in the full-time tuition as part of the Comprehensive Fee. Most services are covered under the health fee, including unlimited visits, most prescriptions and routine laboratory work. The services not covered by the fee, such as X-rays, certain laboratory work and prescriptions, are provided at a reduced cost and will be billed to the student's account.

All students who have scheduled appointments are seen first, although a student may show up without an appointment and wait for the next available physician. USHS does not provide 24-hour care.

ALLERGY/IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

231-7621

Offers allergy injections, immunizations and tuberculin tests at a reduced cost. Does not offer allergy testing; an outside physician must first diagnose the allergy before USHS will give allergy injections.

**Every student must, by state law, have a complete health history form on file, documenting required immunizations. If not, the student will be blocked from registering for second semester classes in October.**

ANONYMOUS HIV TESTING

USHS is a state recognized anonymous HIV testing facility for Virginia Tech students. Testing is done about once or twice a month. Call for times and dates.

FULL SERVICE PHARMACY

WELLNESS PEER EDUCATION

231-3070

A cooperative effort between students and university health services workers to advocate health care. Call for membership information. TRAVEL CLINIC

231-7621

Immunization charges depend on the vaccines given. You should prepare for international travel three to six months before the departure date or as soon as travel plans are made.
