ARKAY WORKER WILL RECOVER AT HOME

Roger Flippen, a worker injured last week in a fall at Arkay Packaging, was discharged from a Roanoke hospital Wednesday to recover at home. He was injured in an Aug. 22 fall at Arkay Packaging of Botetourt County, where he is maintenance supervisor.

Flippen, 35, fell through the roof of a temporary office to the concrete floor below, said Howard Kaneff, president of the New York company. The impact broke facial bones and one arm, Kaneff said.
