Willie Wines Sr. was the official winner of the Aug. 17 Mini Cup division at the New River Valley Speedway after apparent winner Jerry King was disqualified. Randy Spence placed second and Larry Johnson third. Wednesday's paper and an Aug. 19 story incorrectly reported the winner.

Tim Austin's first name was incorrect in a photo caption Tuesday.
