THE ROANOKE VALLEY ROTARY CLUB has announced its 1996-97 board of directors. They are:
Jennings Bird, president; Gardner Smith, president-elect; Brian Duncan, immediate past president; Everett Werness, secretary; James Harshaw, treasurer; June Cosnotti, Dennis Durette, David Pillis, John Rodman, Allen Spell and Richard Ungerer, directors.
In addition, Durette, Rodman, Harshaw and William Dichtel were presented with Paul Harris Fellowships.
THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF JUNIOR COTILLIONS has named Courtney Campbell, a junior cotillion student from the Hidden Valley Chapter, as one of four finalists in the league's "What Junior Cotillion Means to Me" essay competition.
