Jimmy Mullins led from flag to flag in winning the Late Model Stock Car feature race Saturday night at Franklin County Speedway.
A wreck on the first lap sent two cars out of the 100-lap race and put two-time track champion Dudley Lawhorne in the pits. Lawhorne fought his way back through the field to finish second. Dennis Gardner was third.
In the Limited Sportsman division, Mike Dudley won his seventh race in a row. Dudley had to overtake Skip Bennington in the final five laps of the 20-lap event. Leon Dalton couldn't get around Bennington and finished third.
Junior Lester notched his first victory of the season in the Pure Stock race. Red Hartman finished second and Jay Peery took third.
It was business as usual for Mini Stock winner Gary Joyce, who registered his ninth victory of the season. Chris Martin was second and James Cox finished third.
Steve Cannaday won the Rookie division, with Tommy Hall finishing second and Bob Cregger taking third.
Larry Johnson won the Mini Cup race and Jeff James prevailed in the Any Car race.
The Late Model Stock Cars will not race the next three weekends while the track prepares for a Modified race on Sept. 21. All other divisions will race, with double points racing scheduled next Saturday night.
The final races of the season will take place Oct. 12.
