JUDY WILLIAMS and JOAN KINSER of Good Samaritan Hospice have passed the certification exam of the National Board for Certification of Hospice Nurses. Williams has been the director of nursing at Good Samaritan since 1993. Kinser has been a staff nurse at the hospice since 1993.
MIKE REED of the Salem Police Department has graduated from the Administrative Officers Program in a ceremony in Raleigh, N.C. He completed five courses taught by public administration faculty and conducted at training facilities provided by the Wake County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
