NEW PAINTINGS ON EXHIBIT

Landing, is one of a series of new paintings now on display at

Community National Bank, 900 Memorial Drive, Pulaski. The Pulaski

artist hasn't had an exhibit in her hometown in the past 10 years,

but she has received national acclaim for her original work. Two

years ago, New River Community College's art department was named

for the artist. Whitehurst's exhibit at Community National Bank will

remain through mid-October. Other works in the display include

"Flagstore" and "Cruise Ships." The paintings in this series

represent the artist's flair for conveying energy and color. color.
