Sophomore midfielder Ben Olsen scored the game-winner on a corner kick 38 seconds into overtime Sunday as the Virginia men's soccer team put away Saint Louis 2-1 in the final game of the Coca-Cola Classic in Charlottesville.
Senior midfielder Mike Fisher gave the top-ranked Cavaliers (2-0-1) a 1-0 lead with a penalty kick 2:15 into the game. The Billikens, ranked fifth, tied it at the 67:45 mark when Craig Corbett beat UVa goaltender Yuri Sagatov from 12 yards out.
Cal-State Fullerton, which beat American 4-2, tied Virginia with a 1-0-1 mark in the tournament, but claimed the title with a plus-2 goal differential to Virginia's plus-1.

*Kevin Duhaime scored two second-half goals as VMI rallied from a one-goal deficit to defeat Maryland-Eastern Shore 3-1 in men's soccer action in Lexington.
Michael Maire scored the first goal for the Keydets (3-1), which outshot UMES 26-8.
*Keith Cozzens, Todd Hallauer and Sam Starkweather scored for Roanoke as the Maroons tied Sewanee 3-3 to win the Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational men's soccer tournament in Sewanee, Tenn.
The Maroons (2-0) won the tournament on goals scored (10) during the weekend. Midfielders Brad Bandera and Demis Yanco and forward Starkweather were named to the All-Tournament team.
*Forward Heidi Skinner scored for Virginia Tech (1-0-1) as the Hokies tied American (0-1-1) 1-1 in women's soccer in Blacksburg.
*Stacie Gause tallied twice as East Carolina blanked Radford 4-0 in women's soccer in Greenville, N.C.
*Alyson Patrick scored 13:10 into the second half as North Carolina Wesleyan topped Roanoke 1-0 in women's soccer in Salem.
*The Radford University women's golf team placed fourth in the Tina Barrett/Longwood Invitational held at the Longwood Golf Course in Farmville.
The Highlanders finished the two-day event with a 711 team score, 61 shots off the pace of tournament winner James Madison.
Radford's Candace Dean fired a two-day total of 164 and placed fifth in the individual competition. Teammates Alana Smarrelli and Lindsey Horen finished 15th and 19th, respectively.
*The Salem Sabres Maroon Under-13 boys' soccer team finished runner-up in the Autumn Chase Soccer Tournament, held this weekend in Bristol, Tenn.
Salem fell 3-2 to Wood County (W.Va.) Thunder in a shootout in the championship match. Logan Reeves led the Sabres with five goals and goalkeeper Nick Capito posted a 2-1 record in goal.
The Roanoke Star Under-11 girls' team also posted a runner-up finish. Roanoke finished with two wins and a tie and finished second to a team from Johnson City (Tenn.), which edged Roanoke on points.
