Virginia Tech president Paul Torgersen did say he's embarrassed by the latest round of allegations against Tech fooball players. He said: "These things have got to stop. That's all there is to it."
But about the athletes, he also had this to say: "I think they serve as role models. They're on scholarships for it, so I think we have a right to expect more of them.
