A Narrows man has been charged with armed robbery in connection with the Aug. 30 holdup of a Blacksburg convenience store, police said.
Cory Kast, 27, was arrested in West Virginia last month, the day after the Blacksburg robbery. On Monday, police served warrants charging Kast with armed robbery and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Kast waived extradition from West Virginia and was returned to the Botetourt County Jail on Sept. 3, where he remains on $15,000 bond, police said.
