NEWBERN PLANS FALL FESTIVAL

The annual fall festival sponsored by Olde Newbern Foundation will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 12 along the village's historic roadway. Booths featuring food, hand-produced items and educational demonstrations will be located throughout the village. For information, call 674-5853.

Newbern United Methodist Church's annual Apple Butter Stirring and entertainment will be held in the church area in conjunction with the festival. Call 980-3956 or 674-6024 for information.
