Jason DeCuir kicked a school-record four field goals in Howard's 26-7 victory over Hampton on Friday night in the third Greater Washington Urban League Classic.
Howard (1-1, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) forced Hampton (1-1, 0-1) into six turnovers in a game played before 22,569 fans at RFK Stadium.
DeCuir, three shy of tying the school career record of 34 field goals, made kicks of 45, 27, 23 and 36 yards as Howard built a 19-0 lead through three quarters.
DeCuir had a bid for a fifth field goal blocked in the third quarter.
Howard quarterback Ted White, who had three touchdown passes in the Bisons' loss to top-ranked Marshall last week, connected on two scoring throws Friday.
Hampton's only score came on a fourth-quarter, 1-yard sneak by Roy Johnson.
