ROANOKE CATHOLIC STAYS UNBEATEN, 7-6

Roanoke Catholic won its third football game of the high school season Saturday, beating Massanutten 7-6.

Terron Reed hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Aki Al-Zubaidi in the first quarter to put the Celtics (3-0) on the scoreboard.

Michael Race kicked the extra point that proved to be important when Massanutten tried a pass for a two-point conversion that failed after a fourth-quarter touchdown.

Roanoke Catholic running back P.J. Moyer was held to 52 yards on 23 carries.
