FORUM TO FOCUS ON SCHOOL BUILDING PROGRAM

Montgomery County residents are invited to a citizen's forum to discuss school building needs at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Christiansburg headquarters of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library.

The forum is sponsored by the Town County Citizen Partnership and the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

School Board Chairwoman Annette Perkins, Board of Supervisors member Jim Moore and architect Donna Dunay will address the school building plan, how it might be funded and what community and school needs should be taken into account.

Audience members will gather in small groups and give input on planning for three new schools.
