FOR THE RECORD

A feature in Sunday's Extra section incorrectly identified the portrait painter who answered the question, "What is Art?" The artist whose quotes begin, "Art is insanity at the highest level," is Patsy Arrington Dorsett.

In Sunday's Horizon section, 6th District Democratic congressional candidate Jeff Grey's answer to a question about debt was omitted.

In reponse to the question "What will you do to reduce the national debt, not the deficit?" Grey's answer was:

"Job creation and economic growth that puts Americans back to work in high-skill, high-pay jobs will not only help family economics but will also increase consumer spending and add to our nation's tax base. A responsible government that cuts waste, fraud and abuse from government programs will all help reduce the national debt."

A story in Monday's newspaper incorrectly listed a denominational office held by the Rev. Michael Palmer of Green Ridge Baptist Church. He is on the executive committee of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia.
