FTC SAYS EXXON'S NEW GAS ADS FALSE

Exxon Corp.'s 93 Supreme gasoline is cleaning more wallets than engines, and its claims that the gas outperforms competitive brands are unsubstantiated, the Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday.

Exxon, the nation's biggest oil company, denied any wrongdoing and said it is asking an administrative law judge to overturn the FTC complaint.
