The woman killed in a car crash Monday in Botetourt County has been identified as Lauri J. Techentin, 39, of Perkiomenville, Pa.
The woman's car was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Hong Liang Hu, 31, of State College, Pa. Hu, who lost control and crossed the median into the southbound lane of Interstate 81, a half-mile north of Virginia 608, was charged with reckless driving, state Trooper R.F. Stout said.
Hu was listed in stable condition Tuesday at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
