NORTHWEST ROANOKE MAN SHOT

A Northwest Roanoke man was shot late Sunday by two masked men.

Police said Rodney Dwayne Morris, 19, of Loudon Avenue said he opened his back door about 11:50 p.m. When Morris saw two masked men pointing handguns at him, he ran and was shot in the buttocks.

The two men fled on foot through the alley. Morris was treated at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound.
