DELAYS LIKELY ON NORTHBOUND I-81

Motorists likely will face construction delays on northbound Interstate 81 near Salem this morning, the Virginia Department of Transportation warns.

If weather permits, traffic will be reduced to one lane across the new I-81 bridge over Mason Creek this morning, possibly through the morning rush hour. VDOT is encouraging drivers to take alternate routes.
