The Kline Group Ltd., an order-fulfillment company that operated a warehouse on Cleveland Avenue in Roanoke, has closed.
Owner Charles Weaver confirmed that Kline, which had been in business about three years, had ceased operations, but he referred all other questions about the company to his attorney, James Treakle of Charlottesville. Treakle said he would not comment on pending cases.
Former employees said Kline filled orders for products including grass seed and abdominal exercisers. Kline's primary customer, they said, was Tri-Star Products of New Jersey.
