Congratulations to native of Hollins, Va., Cynthia Bruce Thornton for completing her Master of Science Degree in Education Administration from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va. Cynthia is a graduate of Northside High School. She is presently the Acting Associate Director of Admissions at Old Dominion University. Additionally, her husband Wendell Thornton completed his Master of Engineering Management at Old Dominion University this past May. Cynthia is the daughter of Sonny and Celestine Bruce and the granddaughter of Mary Emma Bruce.
