BABY MONITORS FACE RECALL AS FIRE RISK

Gerry Baby Products Co. is recalling 990,000 Model 602 Deluxe Baby Monitors after reports that improperly connected wires could cause monitors to overheat and possibly catch fire.

The two-piece, gray and blue monitors under recall resemble walkie-talkies. The recall involves monitors with date codes from June 1988 (8806) to May 1990 (9005).

Consumers with affected monitors should call Gerry at 800-672-6289 for information on how to return the recalled monitors for free replacements.
