Renovations to gallery and gift shop at the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley have been completed. The month-long task included installing new, mulberry-colored carpet and painting the walls. The gift shop also was relocated to an area in the back of the gallery.
This month's exhibit at the center will be Dean Hufford's cross stitch show, "Through the Needle's Eye." The Fine Arts Center is free and open to the public Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, call 980-7363.
