birthday cake got one Saturday during the celebration of the 100th
birthday of the Pulaski County Courthouse. Food, music and vendors
lined the section of Main Street by the courthouse for the annual
Count Pulaski Day Festival. The celebration had a special interest
this year because of recent speculation that the bones of
Revolutionary War hero Count Casimir Pulaski, who joined the
Colonists and gave his life in their fight against England, had been
uncovered in Savannah, Ga. Juggling clowns, Smokey Bear and other
costumed characters performed during the day for the crowds. color.
