The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear the appeals of three Virginia death row inmates.
The justices did not comment in rejecting the appeals of Lem Tuggle, Christopher Goins and Michael Williams.
Tuggle was sentenced to die for the 1983 rape and murder of a woman in Smyth County. Goins killed five people in a Richmond apartment in 1994. Williams was sentenced to die for the murders of a Cumberland County couple in 1993.
