HANDGUN SAFETY COURSES SCHEDULED

The Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department is offering two sessions of a handgun safety course. The courses will offer firearms identification, safe handling and hands-on demonstration of handguns.

Participants who complete the course will receive a letter of declaration. The county Sheriff's Office will instruct. Participants should not bring weapons to the first class.

Sessions will be at the county Activities Center. Cost is $10; registration is required. The dates and times:

Nov. 20-21, 6:30-9 p.m.

Dec. 4-5, 6:30-9 p.m.
