A grand opening for the Price House Nature Center will be held today and Friday at the historic house on Wharton Street. The center is a project of the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department. It features nature displays and a permanent exhibit of artwork by Peyton Petty.
Hours for the grand opening are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days. Refreshments will be served. Regular hours for the center will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Call Dean Crane at 961-1133.
