A forum on sharing the Earth's water supply will be held next Thursday at both Virginia Tech's Donaldson Brown Center in Blacksburg and at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.
The meeting will explore the historical, ethical, legal and cultural traditions that influence people's thinking about water in the natural environment.
The forum will include a discussion of the Lake Gaston-to-Virginia Beach pipeline controversy.
The forum is free and open to the public but Tech is requesting that those who plan to attend register in advance by calling (540)231-5182.
