The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Walter B. Blair of Roanoke, Va. The groom is the son of Mrs. Margaret M. Murphy of Blue Ridge, Va. and Mr. Clifton P. Alcorn of Roanoke, Va.
Kimberly Blair, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kimberly Britt, Richmond, Va., Elizabeth Deloach, Blacksburg, Va., Christine Drombetta, Fairfax, Va., and Angela Short, Roanoke, Va., friends of the bride. Samuel Bishop, friend of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Clifton Alcorn Jr., Virginia Beach, Va., Walter Blair III, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joseph LeGault, Roanoke, Va., and Cary Wright, Danville, Va.
The bride is a graduate of Mary Washington College and is an Assistant Manager for Bright Services in Roanoke. The groom is a graduate of Roanoke College and is an Operations Supervisor at Hanover Direct, Inc.
The newlyweds will reside in Roanoke after a Southern wedding trip.
Bailey-Woods
Jennifer Stacy Woods and Lieutenant Scott Joseph Bailey were united in marriage on October 11, 1996 at North Roanoke Baptist Church. The Reverend Dr. Darryl Crim officiated. A reception followed at the Roanoke Airport Marriott.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woods of Roanoke, Virginia, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Elmore, also of Roanoke. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Bailey of Baldwin, Maryland and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Connolly of Selbyville, Delaware.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid-of-honor was Jessica Woods, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristin and Brooke Bailey of Baldwin, Maryland, sisters of the groom; Julie Carper of Herndon, Virginia; Kristen Nunnally of Salem, Virginia; Lynn Wampler of Roanoke, Virginia; and Deena Youtan of Cleveland, Ohio, friends of the bride. Jordyn Woods, sister of the bride, was the flowergirl.
The best man was Chas Zimmerman of Cockeysville, Maryland, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Lieutenant Eddie Eldridge, of Fort Benning, Georgia; Jason Goldman, Ty Powers, and Bill Smith of Baltimore, Maryland; Lieutenant Derrick Toddy and Lieutenant Scott Ellis, of Fort Hood, Texas, all friends of the groom. Grant Yoder and Brian Shorts of Baltimore, Maryland and Dan Maloney, of Burke, Virginia served as ushers. Patrick Connolly, of Severna Park, Maryland, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The guest book was attended by Sharon Cottrell, aunt of the bride. Kendra Cottrell, cousin of the bride, was program attendant.
Debbie Turner directed the wedding and also made the wedding cake for the reception. Music was provided by harpist Elizabeth Dechent. All ceremony flowers were made by Syble Mills. Photography was provided by Jim Markey of Roanoke.
The bride is a graduate of Northside High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. She is employed by NationsBank as a banking center manager.
The groom is a graduate of Dulaney High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets. He is currently serving in the US Army stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
The couple will reside in Killeen, Texas.
Blackburn-Cox
Susan Alicia Cox and Jason Cadell Blackburn were married Oct. 5, 1996 in First Baptist Church in Radford. Reverend Neil Wood officiated.
The maid of honor was Beverly Cox, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Sharon Cox Brockman, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Michelle Meade, sister of the groom; and Anna Wade, friend of the bride. The flowergirl was Hannah Meade, niece of the groom.

Staci Lee Gilley and Daniel Gene Bowman were united in marriage on October 5, 1996 at Salem Baptist Church in Salem. Reverend Jeff Alphin and Reverend Lew Bennett officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at Hidden Valley Country Club.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Wedding music was performed by the Kinzie String Quartet and pianist Joyce Tennant. Soloists were Susan Phillips and Laura Jones. The wedding director was Mickey Sutherland. The matron of honor was Traci Basham, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Joy Keller, Susan Phillips, Cindy Bowman, Laura Jones, Julie Fletcher and Lora Grimes. Mr. John Bowman, father of the groom, served as best man. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Gilley of Salem. She is a graduate of Salem High School and Bluefield College. She is employed by Hollins College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bowman of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Bluefield College. In May of 1996 he received his Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Radford University. He is employed by the Bedford County School System at Jefferson Forest High School. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to the Peaks of Otter.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Patterson of Fowlerville, Michigan, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jean Patterson, Mrs. Emma Stachewicz and the late Mr. Norbert Stachewicz.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Brock of Roanoke. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hassell Brock, Mrs. Marguerite Grammer and the lat e Mr. R.J. Grammer.

Crawford-Sorrell
Karrie Elaine Sorrell and Joshua Vaughn Crawford were united in holy matrimony in a candlelight setting on Saturday, September 14, 1996, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. John D. Crawford, father of the groom, officiated.
Nicole Leigh Sorrell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Kimberly Michelle Boyer, both from Roanoke.
Anil Asrani of Charlottesville was best man. Lucas Wayne Sorrell, brother of the bride, served as usher. The guest book was attended by Ellen Nealy, cousin of the bride.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of white silk with chapel length train. The bodice of white lace was adorned with pearls and gla ss beads. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of ivory roses, harmony roses, and stephanotis and was accented with green and copper ivy.
Soloists for the ceremony included the Rev. John D. Crawford, father of the groom; Mr. Walter Keesey, grandfather of the groom; Mrs. Joan Edgar and Jessica Edgar, aunt and cousin of the groom. The organist was Mrs. Sharon Mundy. A reception followed immediately at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Toby Wayne Sorrell of Roanoke and is a graduate of Northside High School. She attended Va. Western Comm. College and is employed in Roanoke. The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. John D. Crawford of Roanoke and is a graduate of Blacksburg High School. He attended Va. Western Comm. College and is employed at RPS in Roanoke.

Ushers were Spiros Souras and David Martin, friends of groom, and Gregory Fischer, brother of groom. The bride wore an ivory floor length gown accented with Venetian lace. She carried a nosegay of ivory roses and carnations. The bride is the daughter of David Poff of Roanoke and Karon Ferguson of Elizabeth, N. J. She graduated from Northside High School, Roanoke, and attended Hollins College, Hollins, Va. She is employed by American Management Systems. The groom is the son of James and Joanne Spires, Chesapeake. He attended Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, and is employed by Virginia Tech Communication Network Services. The newlyweds will live in Blacksburg.

Trena Louise Price and Paul Robert French were married September 28, 1996, in Full Gospel Grace Tabernacle with Pastor Dallas Vines and Rev. Jim Angle officiating. The reception was held at Full Gospel Grace reception hall. The maid of honor was Sherry Cox, friend of bride. Bridesmaids were Chrissy Cupp and Angie Boles, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Heather Farrer, daughter of groom. Flower girls were Taylor Cupp and Miranda Franklin. Clifton Wills, friend of groom, served as best man. The bride carried a bouquet of burgundy and white roses with gold ribbon. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara Albert of Christiansburg and Charlie Price of Blacksburg. She is employed by the Credit Union of Virginia Tech. The groom is the son of John David and Mary French of Martinsville, Va. He is employed by Inland Motor. The newlyweds will live in Christiansburg.
Hall-Petrazio
Miss Kimberly Ann Petrazio and Mr. Reginald Bert Hall were married Saturday, the twelfth of October, nineteen hundred and ninety-six, at four o'clock in the afternoon in Salem Baptist Church. The candlelight ceremony was performed by Pastor Lew Bennett. A program of wedding music was performed by Peggy Cambell, organist, and William Dixon, vocalist.
A dinner reception was hosted by the bride's parents at the Jefferson Center Atrium.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark William Petrazio of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Eric Petrazio Sr. and Mrs. Rose Brennan and the late Bernard Brennan of Emporium, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Hall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hall of Salem, Virginia. His late grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Nonie Hall of Castlewood, Virginia, and Mrs. Louella Sutherland and the late Bert Sutherland of Ashtabula, Ohio.
The bride was escorted to the alter by her father, and given in marriage by her parents. Kim wore a gown of Venise lace, sheer illusion bodice, accented with covered buttons in the back, with a chiffon skirt flowing into a cathedral train, designed by Demetrios. She carried a bouquet of white roses and gardenias.
Mrs. Lisa Fuller served as matron of honor. Ms. Leigh Kennedy as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Cathy Hall, Suzanne Lancaster, and Erika Petrazio. Miss Constance Petrazio served as the flowergirl. Miss Alana Fuller served as greeter and guestbook attendant.
Mr. Hall's best man was his father, Lee Hall. The groomsmen were Ronnie Hall, Ted Lancaster, Matt Petrazio, Todd Robertson and Jeff Fuller. The ring bearer was Jeffrey Pate.
Mrs. Hall graduated from National Business College and is employed with First Union National Bank. Mr. Hall is employed with Carter Machinery Co.
A rehearsal dinner was held at ""The Homeplace"".
After a wedding cruise to the southern Caribbean, the couple will reside in Roanoke, Virginia.
Harding-Shrader
Tracy Waters Shrader and Rhory Carroll Harding were married on Sat., Aug. 31st, 1996 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Roanoke. The Rev. Jerry Cloninger officiated the ceremony. The maid of honor was Angela Waters, sister of the bride; the bridesmaid was Tracee Young, friend of the bride; the best man was Gene Kelley, stepfather of the groom; ushers were Daniel Shrader and Phil Holland. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Orlando and Daytona Beach and will reside in Roanoke County.

The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Mark W. Radecke. The maid of honor was Amy L. Hinson; best man, Walter H. Johansen, father of the groom. The bridesmaids were composed of Christina M. Johansen Kastell, Jessica L. Waugh, and Rebecca R. Dunn. The groomsmen comprised Tomas A. Kringel, Michael J. Crawford, and John D. Simon. Clancy L. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlie E. Kimberlin of Roanoke. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlie C. Kimberlin of Roanoke and Mrs. Helen Benois of Boones Mill and the late Edward M. Benois.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Jones of Davis, Oklahoma. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hyche and the late Mr. Bob Jones of Vance, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dickson of Davis, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Kellam is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Festus McKinney of Spartanburg. She was graduated from Spartanburg High School and received a B.A. degree from Wofford College in Political E conomy and Philosophy.
Mr. Kellam is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fleming Kellam, Jr. of Roanoke, Va. He was graduated from North Cross School and received a B.A. degree in History from Wofford College. Mr. Kellam is with Mid South Financial Network, Ltd. in Roanoke.

The newlyweds will live in Southwest Roanoke, VA, after the wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL.
Trifoli-Richartz
Diana Lee Richartz and Ross Justin Trifoli were married on October 12, 1996 at Shenandoah Baptist Church in Roanoke. Pastor Robert L. Alderman officiated. A reception followed at Hunting Hills Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Richartz of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Trifoli of N. Topsail Beach, N.C. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is a general building contractor in Wilmington, N.C.
The maid of honor was Kirsten A. Stewart, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Kerr and Jennifer Wilson, cousins of the bride; Pamela Black, friend of the bride. Stephanie Wilson, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
The best man was Paul Trifoli, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Richartz , brother of the bride; George V. Trifoli, brother of the groom; Stephen Hall, friend of the groom.
Guest book attendant was Jennifer Trifoli, sister-in-law of the bride and groom. Special thanks to Barry Brooks, photographer; Mark Frye, florist; Pat Bruce, wedding coordinator; Sue Pesta, from Brideshouse; and of course our parents for making the day even more special.
After a honeymoon to Charleston, S.C. and Disney World, the couple will reside in Wilmington, N.C.
Vaught-Radford
Lisa Lynn Radford and Chad Lyn Vaught were united in marriage on October 12, 1996. A candlelight ceremony was held at 6:00 in the evening in the Jefferson Room at the Patrick Henry Hotel, downtown, Roanoke. The Rev. Peter L. duPlessis officiated. The reception followed in the Grand Ballroom at the hotel.
The matron of honor was Michelle Vaught, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jo Carole Knapp and Jennifer Keener, friends of the bride; and Lori Hager, cousin of the groom.
The best man was Douglas L. Vaught, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Todd Vaught, brother of the groom; Jimmy Radford, brother of the bride; Chris Shelor and Billy Smith, friends of the groom. Guestbook attendant was Jason Harless; gift and program attendants were Michelle Radford and Melissa Harless, all cousins of the bride.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her pare nts.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Radford, Jr. of Christiansburg. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and the College of Health Sciences. She is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas L. Vaught of Christiansburg. He is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and ECPI. He is self-employed.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the newlyweds will return to their home in Christiansburg, Va.
Warrick-Frazier
Marion Jean Frazier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Creed F. Frazier, III of Salem, and Edward C. Warrick, son of Mrs. Shelby Warrick and Albert T. Warrick of Front Royal, were married October 12, 1996 at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church in Vinton with Rev. William Anthony Layman and Dr. George Wesley Jones officiating. The reception was held at the Airport Holiday Inn.
The bride's sister Ruth Frazier was maid of honor. Deborah Sklar and Leigh Martin, also sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor. Brides maids were Beverley Warrick, sister of the groom; Janet Conway, Adrienne Crump, Jeanne Shirly, Anne Kawecki, and Tiffany Wagner.
Vincent Warrick, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Creed F. Frazier, IV, brother of the bride; Michael Capozzi, Kurt Lankenau, David Whitestone, Todd Mills, James E. Mauck, Lane Giardina, and Terry Flannery.
Flower girl was Hayley Storm Martin and the ring bearer was Leah Frazier, both nieces of the bride. Scripture reader was Blair Massey; poetry reader was Scott Bedwell; attending the guest book was Bryan and Michelle Brooks, cousins of the bride.
Organist Jeryl Powell was accompanied by trumpeter Gerald Pope. Singers were Elaine Layman, Deedie Kagey, Marie Bishop, Claudine Walker, Edward Morgan, Gary Massengill, James W. Reynolds, and Edwin Heptinstall.
Marion received her Master's degree from Virginia Tech and is employed by Northern Virginia Community College and Mobil Oil Company. Edward, a graduate of George Mason University, is employed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in Arlington.
After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Reston, Va.
The wedding and reception was directed by Mildred Scott, a friend of the family.
