THREE INJURED IN WRECK

          22, was in stable condition Sunday night at Carilion Roanoke 
          Memorial Hospital with severe head injuries after a collision with a
          car driven by Eugene Ashley, 74, west of Salem. Ashley and his wife,
          Mildred Ashley, 75, were treated at Roanoke Memorial for minor head 
          injuries.
