Fourth-graders at Christiansburg Elementary had a special guest on Oct. 2. Robin Reed, meteorologist from WDBJ (Channel 7) visited the students. Reed talked about the study of weather and sprinkled in many weather facts and stories. Reed also showed the students how rain clouds are formed by using an eye dropper, water and a cotton ball. His experiment involved two student helpers, Terrell Burkes and Meredith Spry. The students presented Reed with their school T-shirt and a gigantic card that everyone had signed.
