Scott Wright found the right pipeline to the pins Thursday night at Viking Lanes.
The 26-year-old Roanoke plumber bowled his third career 300 game to cap off a 765 set for his Ray's Restaurant team in the ``220'' league.
It was Wright's first 300 at Viking, generally considered one of the toughest local houses to attain perfection.
``Somebody was looking out for me tonight,'' Wright said. ``I got away with a couple real bad. I should have had a 5-10 split on one, but it went anyway. When it's your night, it's your night, I guess.''
Wright, who carries a 206 average, picked up $300 from the house for the perfect game, plus another $100 for topping 700 for a set. Wright had a 266 in his first game, followed by a 199.
Wright wasn't the only one with a hot hand. Three of his teammates - Ray Jones Jr. (658), Donnie Craft (613) and Mike Cundiff (612) - all recorded 600 or better sets.
