Mr. & Mrs. John Richard Boone of Blue Ridge, VA are very pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Regina Lynn Boone, to James Edward Poff of Richmond, VA, son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Edward Poff of Vinton, VA.
The bride-to-be, a graduate of The College of William and Mary, earned her Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in August.
The groom-to-be has a degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech and is employed as an assistant resident engineer for the VA Department of Transportation in Ashland.
A spring wedding is planned.

Brenda L. Cole and Dwayne Baxley are engaged and planning to be married on May 10, 1997, in Salem. Brenda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Cole of Salem. She graduated from Salem High School and from Virginia Western Comm. College and Averett College. She is employed by Lewis Gale Hospital. Dwayne is the son of Mrs. Marlyn Akers and the late Tom Akers of Roanoke and Mr. Sherwood Baxley, Georgia. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and from Electrical School. He is employed by Lewis Gale Hospital.
Kirk-Kessler
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin R. Kirk, formerly of Blue Ridge, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy, to Mr. Jonathan Kessler, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Kessler of Vinton, Va. Ms. Kirk is employed as a Dental Assistant at Dental Associates. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and attended Radford University and Virginia Western Community College. Mr. Kessler is employed by Ideal Building Supply. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. An October 4, 1997 wedding is planned.

Jan Sheryl Meyer and Perry Spencer Hayes are engaged and planning to be married on November 2, 1996 in McComb, Ms. She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William H. Meyer of McComb, Ms. She was graduated from McComb High School and the University of Mississippi (BS in Court Reporting). She is employed by Morrow, Oates & Sanders in Memphis, Tn. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald S. Hayes of Blacksburg, Va. He was graduated from Blacksburg High School, Washington & Lee University and Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis (Juris Doctor). He is employed by the District Attorney's Office in Memphis, Tn.
Rorrer-Clarkson
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rorrer of Dublin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tania Lynn Rorrer, to Thomas Lee Clarkson of Pulaski.
Tania is a 1994 graduate of Pulaski County High School and is currently attending New River Community College. She will graduate in May, 1997.
Tommy Clarkson is the son of Millard and Rebecca Simpkins of Pulaski, and Michael and Patricia Clarkson of Rocky Mount. Tommy is a 1992 graduate of Pulaski County High School. He is currently employed with Wal-Mart in Pulaski.
