          magazine, Ruth and Chuck Carpenter decided to try to make one in the
          front yard of their Vinton home. So, just in time for Halloween, the
          Carpenters came up with "Witch Hazel," who has smashed into a 
          telephone pole in their front yard. Do you suppose she deserves a
