Weber scored all 11 points for the Cougars in the third quarter.
Summer East added 11 points for the game. The Cougars (6-2, 16-3) led by only eight through three quarters but outscored the Lancers (5-3, 11-7) 16-5 in the fourth.
Patrick County remained in a tie for first place in the district as Martinsville also won.
Brandy Martin led the Lancers with 10 points.
Alleghany 58, Blacksburg 53: The Mountaineers hit some clutch free throws in the fourth quarter to seal the five-point Blue Ridge District win over the Indians in Blacksburg.
Alleghany (6-6 district, 11-7 overall) led for most of the game and took a 10 point lead in the third quarter. Blacksburg (3-9 district, 5-14 overall) charged back in the fourth and took the lead at 52-50 with two minutes left in the game. The Mountaineers immediately regained the lead with a three pointer on their next posession. Natasha Chapman was 4-for-5 from the line down the stretch to seal the win. Chapman finished with 21 points and teammate Katie Craft finished with 25 points. Casey Beamer led the Indians with 14 points.
Liberty 47, Brookville 45: Selena Byers scored 14 points to help the Minettes (5-15, 4-7) come from behind to defeat the Bees (11-7, 7-3) in a Seminole District contest in Bedford.
The Minettes trailed 43-33 at the end of the third quarter but were able to battle back. They held Bees to only two points, both off free throws, after trailing 43-26 midway through the third quarter.
The Minettes pulled to 45-44 late in the fourth when Ashley Wood stole the ball and passed to Byers, who hit a go-ahead layup. Their defense held the Bees and were then sent to the free-throw line, where Byers hit one to ice the victory.
Lindsay Ferguson scored a game-high 23 points in the losing effort for the Bees.
Rockbridge County 50, Christiansburg 37: Kate Ides was on fire as the Wildcats (1-17, 1-12) picked up their first win of the season in a Blue Ridge District matchup against the Demons (9-9, 4-8) in Lexington.
Ides made six of seven field-goal attempts and 12 of 13 free throws for her game-high 24 points. She added 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots.
The Wildcats had a slim 15-13 halftime lead but outscored the Demons 15-6 in the third quarter behind Ides' 10 points. Elizabeth Faulkner scored 12 points in the game. Grace Wade contributed five assists.
Amber Reed and Lisa Dalton led the Demons with 11 points each.
Pocahontas 63, Bland 52: The Indians rallied in the fourth to keep the Rockets from posting their first win.
Pamela Nunley scored eight of her game-high 23 points in the fourth, as foul-plagued Bland was outscored 24-8. Jennifer Winters scored 21 for the Rockets. Amy Hanshew had 10.
Staunton River 50, Rustburg 48: Penny Forrest scored 14 and helped spur a Golden Eagles comeback at Rustburg in a Seminole District game.
Staunton River (10-8, 8-3) trailed 42-39 after three quarters before holding Rustburg (10-6, 4-6) to six fourth-quarter points.
Stephanie Alexander scored 10 for the Golden Eagles. Hollee Franklin led Rustburg with 24 points. Amy Wynn added 12.
Fort Chiswell 59, Grayson County 51: Kelly Reynolds had 13 points and eight rebounds as the Pioneers won a Mountain Empire District game in Fort Chiswell.
Amber Gunter had 13 points and Kristen Harmon added 11 for Fort Chiswell, which got off to a fast start and held off Grayson County uprisings in the second and third quarters.
The Blue Devils got a game-high 28 points from Lindsey Carico and Mandy Smith chipped in with 10.
Parry McCluer 71, Highland County 42: Lindsey Coleman scored 30 points to lead the Fighting Blues to a Pioneer District win at Monterey.
Coleman made four 3-pointers for Parry McCluer, which led 41-13 at halftime. Nikki Barger scored 16, Clarissa Johnson added 10.
Tammy Shifflett led Highland County with 19 points.
Auburn 52, Giles 46: The Eagles were paced by a strong offensive fourth quarter in their six point win over the Spartans in a Three Rivers District game in Pearisburg.
Auburn outscored Giles (0-8, 5-13) 21-10 in the fourth quarter and was 7-10 for the line. The Eagles were 14-26 in the game, while the Spartans were 14-34 for the game and 2-9 in the pivotal fourth quarter. Susan Wirt led the Eagles with 15 points and Tammy Stiles added 10 points. Kristen White was the games leading scorer with 21 points for the Spartans.
Rocky Gap 57, Galax 37: Tessa Andrews scored only 12 fewer points than the Maroon Tide combined as the Eagles won a Mountain Empire District game in Rocky Gap.
Andrews added nine rebounds to her 25 points. She hit 14 of 16 free throws in the second half. Michelle Sarver contributed 13 points for the Eagles (8-11, 4-6). Sarah French grabbed 16 rebounds.
Erin Kyle and Tiffany Williams led the Maroon Tide (12-6,8-2) with 11 and 10 points respectively as they were handed their second district defeat of the season.
Bassett 51, Magna Vista 40: Sophomore forward Heather Miller scored a career-high 37 points as the Bengals downed the Warriors in a Piedmont District game in Bassett.
Bassett also did a good job defensively in the paint, getting both of Magna Vista's inside players into foul trouble and holding center Sandi Reid to 10 points.
The Bengals (15-4 overall, 5-3 district) pulled away by capitalizing on the Warriors' zone defense, which confounded them in the first half.
Moranda Wade led Magna Vista with 16 points.
Martinsville 60, Fieldale-Collinsville 36: Three players scored in double figures as the Bulldogs remained in a tie for first in the Piedmont District.
Jamie Farrington led Martinsville (12-6, 6-2) with 17 points. Tiffany Watkins had 15 and Erica Brandon added 11. Watkins had 10 rebounds.
Carrie Quinlan scored 14 for Fieldale-Collinsville (6-13, 0-8).
Rural Retreat 48, George Wythe 40: Kristie Osborne scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to help the Indians win a Hogoheegee District game at Rural Retreat.
Osborne finished with 16 points for Rural Retreat (13-5, 7-3), which never trailed after using a 17-10 run to take a 25-20 halftime lead. Jane Grubb had 12 rebounds.
Megan Johnson led George Wythe with 17 points. Tabitha Cook had 10.
