Upcoming:

* The Radford City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday and is expected to publicly discuss and possibly vote on plans for renovated or new courtroom space. The meeting takes place in the Municipal Building, 619 Second St.

* The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the county courthouse at Franklin and Main streets in Christiansburg. Topics include adoption of the six-year secondary road improvement plan. The supervisors are scheduled to add low-water crossings to Dry Run Road, the subject of much comment at a public hearing last month, to the list of road priorities.

* The Montgomery County School Board and The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a joint work session. Topics include funding the school's operating budget; school projects for the Capital Improvements Plan; and debt service. The meeting will be at the new health and human services building on Pepper Street in Christiansburg. At 5:30 p.m., the school site selection committee - made up of representatives from both boards - will meet.
