CELEBRATIONS - BIRTHS

Ayers birth

Kendall Alan Ayers was born June 25, 1996 at 8:23 a.m. in Community Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 3/4 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches. His proud parents are Wendall Alan and Jillana Christy Ayers. He also has an older sister; Carley Christina, 4 years, and two older brothers; Nicholas Allen, 5 years, and Christopher Allen, 3 years. His grandparents are C. Christine Brown of Roanoke and Carl Ardel and Betty Lou Ayers of Granville Summit, PA. The attending physician was Dr. Francis X. Moffitt.

Belcher birth

Benjamin Wesley Belcher was born September 26, 1996 at 12:34 p.m. in Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital. He weighed 9 lbs. 14 3/4 oz. and was 21 inches long. His proud family includes his parents, David and Pam Belcher, and 2 sisters, Sarah, age 7, and Laura, age 4. We would like to thank the NICU and PICU staff for their special care of Ben. Thank you to family and friends as well for their thoughts and prayers. Welcome home Ben! We love you

Jackson birth

On Sept. 29, 1996 the Lord blessed us with a son, Ethan Wayne-Edward Jackson. He was born to Terry and Ronda Jackson and he weighed 7 lbs. 11 1/2 ozs. and was 21 inches long. Proud grandparents are Earl and Helen Akers and Helen Jackson. Great grandparents are Estelle Akers and Raymond and Ruth Carter and a great-great grandmother Genoa Prillaman. We have been blessed with a precious miracle and special thanks is extended to Dr. Hardee and Dr. Keene for making this happen. Also a special thanks to Paula for all the support during labor.

Smith birth

Michael and Monica Smith are proud to announce the birth of their precious son, Nicholas Reid Smith. Nicholas was born August 10th, 1996 at 5:55 p.m. at Roanoke Community Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Loving Grandparents are: Charles and Janet Smith and Earl and Geraldine Hylton.

Special thanks to the OBGYN Associates nurses and staff for their continued support and loving care. A very special thanks to our wonderful Dr. Farber. We so appreciated their special prenatal care and the concern they showed during the delivery of our precious son, Nicholas.
