* Southwest Virginia entrepreneurs who would like business advice by phone can call a new hot line at Radford University. Callers select from nearly 30 recorded message up to five minutes long. The menu covers Virginia laws that affect new companies, hiring a lawyer or an accountant, preparing a business plan, taxation, regulation and financing, foreign trade, training opportunities and marketing techniques, spokesman Jack Barr said Tuesday. * ETS International Inc. of Roanoke said Tuesday its ETS Water and Waste Management Inc. subsidiary in Richmond has won contracts worth more than $2.3 million in the Richmond area. The projects primarily involve trenchless sewer line rehabilitation.

* Direct Source International Inc. of Blue Ash, Ohio, has recalled nearly 12,000 packages of small plastic Halloween buckets after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission found prohibited levels of lead in the paint on the buckets, which come in three styles: orange pumpkins, white skulls and green monster heads.
