JANE S. GLENN recently was named Boss of the Year at the Roanoke Valley Legal Secretaries Association's annual Bosses Night. She is a partner in the firm Jones & Glenn. Also, CONNIE VERON was named Member of the Year. She is employed at the law firm of Mundy, Rogers & Frith.
The Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association Inc. has named FRALIN & WALDRON INC. its 1996 Star Award winner. This award is given to the builder member firm that has received the most points from associate member firms during the competition year. Builder members earn points from associate member firms with whom they have business contacts. The association named SHEILA ROSE DOOLEY, building-permits clerk for Roanoke County, 1996 Public Employee of the Year. She was cited for going beyond the call of duty to help home builders with their problems and concerns.
WILLIAM H. SPENCER III of Roanoke, agency manager for The Franklin Life Companies in Southwestern Virginia, has been granted the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC) Fellow professional designation after meeting training and educational requirements and membership and ethical standards set by the council. Spencer is a member of the Roanoke Valley Life Underwriters Association and has been active in the life insurance profession for 29 years.
