AN INVITATION TO RESIDENTS AND FORMER RESIDENTS OF MELROSE, DAY AND TAZEWELL AVENUES

For an upcoming report in The Roanoke Times, we would like to show what Day, Melsore and Tazewell avenues looked like between 1900 and 1965. If you have color or black-and-white photos of the streets between those years, maybe you can help. We're particularly interested in Melrose between 11th and 24th Streets, the 300-800 blocks of Day and the 300-700 blocks of Tazewell. We're looking for pictures of any size.

Bring your photographs to The Roanoke Times on Saturday, Nov. 16, between 2 and 5 p.m. We will copy them as you watch, and you can take your pictures home. We will credit the owners of any photos that are used.
