ALL, Clara Marie Crowder, 78, of New Castle, passed away Monday, November 4,1996. She was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Etta Herron Crowder. She was born in Botetourt County, she was preceded in death by her husband John Robert All Sr., and eld est son John Robert All Jr., she is survived by four sons, Curtis Richard, Loyd Alonza both of Perry, Fla., William Stanley and Michael Allen of New Castle; one daughter, Ethel Arlene Rhodes of New Castle. 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children, brother, Wallace Adolph Crowder of New Castle and niece Nancy Crowder Drummond of New Castle. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6,1996 at 2 p.m. at Paxton Chapel with Kenneth Davis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Crawford Memorial Cemetery. BASHAM, Virginia Coffey, 76, of Fairfax, died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996 at her residence. She was born in Bedford County on January 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Hugh Davis Coffey, and Lillian Cocke C offey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Oglesby Basham, a brother, Troy F. Coffey and four sisters, Ola C. Wilson, Annie Ruth Coffey, Gladys C. Wells, and Obera C. Derby. She was a retired credit manager of Sears Roebuck Company with many years of service. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Forest. She is survived by three sisters, Vernie Coffey, Ralphine C. Overstreet, both of Forest, and Morcelle C. Marshall, Bedford. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 6, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev.. Robert W. Gochenour officiating. GILMORE, Frank Junior, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, November 3, 1996 in a Roanoke hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, achieving the rank of Sargeant and was a life long resident of Christiansburg. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Gilmore; four sisters, Bessie Cox, Christiansburg, Margaret Spangler, Winter Haven, Fla., Betty Britt, Salem and Alice Compton, Alexandria; brother, Robert Costigan, Marion. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday f rom the Richardson-Horne Chapel conducted by the Rev. Albin Crutchfield. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. HODGES, Leroy Junior, (""Bulldog""), 62 of East Court St., Rocky Mount, Va. died Monday, November 4, 1996 at the local hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Mary Hodges and two sisters, Gracie Hall and Audrey Hodges. RIFFEY, Grace Elkins, 94 of 211 Stuart Street, Dublin, Va. died early Monday morning, November 4, 1996 at her home. She was born in Mate-wan, West Va. on July 5, 1902, and was the daughter of the late John Nelson Elkins and Rennie Stiltner Elkins. She was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Riffey, Sr. Surviving are two daughters, Jean Bailey, Christiansburg, Va. and Vivian Riggs, Pulaski, Va.; two sons, John Riffey, Dublin, Va. and William E. Riffey, Jr., Pulaski, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Frank Bauman and Rev. Glenn Arsnoe officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. ROHRBAUGH, Edwin Nathan, 34, of Winston-Salem, N.C. died at the Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Sunday, November 3, 1996. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 1996 at Voglers Main Street Chapel, by the Rev. Richard A. Giessler with interment to follow in the Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rohrbaugh was born April 2, 1962 in High Point, N.C. to Allan L. and Grace Elizabeth Greer Rohrbaugh. Mr. Rohrbaugh has been a resident of Winston-Salem for 18 years. He was a graduate of Catawba College, Class of '84. While at Catawba College he received a number of awards including the award of ""Mr. Catawba"". He was an employee of Inland Mortgage Company of Greensboro, N.C. Surviving are a sister Elizabeth E. Rohrbaugh, of Winston-Salem; a brother, Nevin A. Rohrbaugh, of Lexington, N.C.; his father, Allan L. Rohrbaugh; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude H. Rohrbaugh; and two nephews, Allan C. and David N. Rohrbaugh. There are seven aunts that survive, Mrs. Doris Frye, Lexington, N.C., Jane Hill, Roanoke, Va., Martha Copeland, Winston-Salem, Cornelia Warner, Mildred Smith, and Martha Martin, all of Glen Rock, Penn., and Margaret Gobrecht, Hanover, Penn. Mr. Rohrbaugh was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Greer Rohrbaugh 1971, and by his maternal grandparents, Mrs. Grace Green and Mr. Clifford Greer, of Lexington, N.C. SMITH, Wanda Lee Buchanan, 69, of Lexington, died Saturday, November 2, 1996 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. She was born on November 15, 1926 in Rockbridge County a daughter of Anna Mary (Arehart) Buchanan, Lexington and the late Walker Webb Buchanan. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Houston Smith who died this past June 15, 1996. They would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on December 24, 1996. She was a member of Lauderdale ARP Church, Lexington. Mrs. Smith was an active member for many years with the VFW Ladies Auxilliary Post #1499 and had served as treasurer. Also, she was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lexington. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Carl H. ``Ricky"" Smith Jr. and Rae Marie Smith, Greensboro, N.C., Howard Tracy Smith, Lexington; one daughter, and son-in-law, Mrs. Tana Sue Smith and Roy L. Smith Sr., Fairfield; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna B. Claytor, Lexington, Helen B. Leighton, Bartlett, Tenn., Vivian B. Watson, Sanford, Fla., Betty B. Ferguson and Ray Ferguson, Buena Vista; two grandchildren, Adriene Vashon ``Shon"" Vance and her husband, Denny Vance, Fairfield and Roy Lee Smith Jr., currently stationed with the U.S. Army, Korea; two great-grandchildren, Jonathan R.
