HERE'S WHAT'S AVAILABLE AT THE ROANOKE CIVIC CENTER

The Roanoke Civic Center is Western Virginia's premier convention, exhibition and cultural complex.

Major industrial trade shows, professional sports teams and business executives have discovered that the center meets their needs with professional service and competitive pricing.

The facility is composed of two buildings joined by a landscaped plaza. A spacious coliseum, state-of-the art theater and multi-purpose exhibit hall, supported by complete catering facilities and plenty of dressing rooms make the center an ideal place for business, professional or social gatherings.

Major rock and country concerts and touring Broadway shows appear regularly at the center, often to sell-out crowds. Here is what the center has to offer:

COLISEUM

The large seating area makes it an excellent arena for sporting events, trade shows, concerts and circus shows. *The arena boasts more than 20,000 square feet.

*There are nearly 8,400 upholstered seats. *Portable risers and floor seating can increase seating capacity to 11,000 depending on staging and production requirements.

*Performers have access to five dressing rooms.

*There are two service entrances measuring 14-by-16 feet.

*Lighted parking for 1,850 vehicles is available.

*The concourse can accommodate booth space, meetings and food services as needed.

AUDITORIUM

The excellent acoustics make it an attractive choice for musicals, concerts and lectures. *The audience of up to 2,458 is treated to Continental-style seating (no center aisle).

*Performers and speakers use a 105-by-55-foot stage.

*The orchestra pit has a hydraulic lift and state-of the art acoustics.

*The lobby and mezzanine can accommodate booth space, meetings and food services as needed.

EXHIBIT HALL

The room is often used for conventions, trade shows and banquets.

*Within the columns, it has 10,000 square feet of floor space.

*Five smaller function rooms (Parlors A, B, C, D, E) are available.

*Full kitchen, catering and concession services are available.
